This episode has got to be one of the most important things in a marriage. Jon and Jess discuss the importance of being equal in the spirit and in God's eyes. God says we are, so it must be true refers directly to when God created us equal, yet different.
There are so many things that God says we are. Things such as:
- Never Alone
And the list of these are endless and can be applied to you personally in a very individual way. But if we as a people are to make gains in accomplishing what God wants us to accomplish, we are first to realize and treat everyone as equals.
The equal in his sight really means that nobody is lessor because of their differences. We all have talents and when God says we are this or that, He means it as a good thing.
This has been taken to different levels and when a marriage is based off of this type of believe and structure, you'll see 2 very happy people living a happy life together.
Here's What God Says About Us Being Equal
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.Galatians 3:28 ESV
and then Peter says…
So Peter opened his mouth and said: Truly I understand that God shows no partiality,Acts 10:34 ESV
So as you can see it was not that tough to pull even 2 verses from Gods word stating that we are equal and that He treats us with no partiality.
In today's world where we have Google and Bing to look things up so fast in any reference book, we tend to not cherish these types of benefits. Our relationship with God is there waiting for each of us. Soak in what God says we are to Him.
That should be enough for us to live eternally. However, since the age of Adam and Eve, we have gone for the very thing that we are not supposed to have.
There's really nothing like having a guide to life and that ultimate guide is what we call Gods Word. But if you're looking for something that you can apply to your relationship now, we are suggesting that you download our free PDF.
This eBook will cover the 7 different areas in a relationship that must be aligned. This is purely to grow the relationship to an explosive love.
This explosive love is something we all experience in the beginning. However, it's very topical in the beginning. We want you to experience this again from a much deeper level.
